Stibbert Museum

Stibbert Museum contains 10 rooms to display the collections of Stibbert, along with precious furniture pieces such as chests.

Federico Stibbert is a man of letters, one of the eminent writers and a resident of the villa situated on the Montughi’s hill.

The actual villa ran short of space for the collection, and different masterpieces were added by the well- kno2wn artists such as Passaglia, the sculptor, Gaetano Bianchi, the painter and Giuseppe Poggi, the architect.

The large park that encircles the Stibbert Museum was rearranged with a final touch that makes it one of the most amazing gardens in the entire Florence.
